I have always loved enameling, to me it is like painting on metal. Its a great way to add bold color without the use of gemstones! I created these pieces several years ago when I was wanting to add color to my line as socially and ecologically responsible as possible. I didn't have the relationships built that I do now with various gemstone dealers and I was having difficulty sourcing stones that I could ensure were conflict free. It didn't feel good to me to just ignore such a core value to my brand just so I could work with color and that's when the glass enamel collection was born!
