Custom Heirloom Diamond Redesign

I had the honor recently of getting to create these two beautiful rings using a client's mother's diamonds. I love resetting sentimental stones into one of a kind pieces that families will treasure for many lifetimes. There's something really special about being able to tell a story about where the stones came from and then getting to weave your own narrative with the piece as time goes on. 

Inspired by a few of my past designs, in the wide band we incorparated hand-textured surfaces and vintage milgrain to create a rustic but timeless piece of jewelry. The gorgeous heirloom diamond was carefully bezel set into the white gold band creating a truly one of a kind piece.

Loving the chevron diamond ring from my fine jewelry collection, and having one heirloom diamond to work, with we came up with this sparkler of a ring. I modified the original design to fit the client's diamond in the point of the ring. I wanted to be sure that the sentimental stone was the star of the show. Using responsibly sourced, conflict free diamonds we balanced out the design with stones trailing down each side of the modern v shape band. With french cut pave diamonds, and a beautiful heirloom diamond all set in white gold, this piece is truly stunning. 

Both of these rings were made using recycled gold. Combine that with antique diamonds and conflict free new diamonds, these pieces are both environmentally responsible as they are beautiful.
