Vacation Jewelry Style: My favorite jewelry to bring on a tropical getaway

I recently escaped to Loreto in Baja California for a much needed vacation for a little less than a week. It was absolutely gorgeous and is one of my favorite places to visit as it's only about a 2hr flight from Los Angeles.

I didn't take a lot of jewelry on this trip, but I did pack a few stacking rings. Rings are my favorite thing to take on a quick trip, because they're easy to keep track of and lightweight. Which is perfect for when it's nearly 100 degrees outside.

When I travel I almost always leave my engagement ring at home and instead opt for a second stacking ring to wear with my wedding band. I love the diamond contour band for this, not only does it nests perfectly with my existing wedding band, it gives me a little extra sparkle and fun without having to worry about losing such a precious and irreplaceable piece of jewelry. That is definitely one way to ruin a vacation!

I also like to throw a couple extra rings in too! This time I chose my favorite sterling silver turquoise ring because I knew it would pair perfectly with the turquoise waters. I mean am I wrong? Loreto is gorgeous and I absolutely can't wait to go back. A few stacking rings paired with a margarita and you can't go wrong for your next tropical getaway!
